The JG's T@BBABY Travels: Finally, We get to Use our T@B

Monday: We're Off! Had some last minute things to do in the morning. Of course Trailer City was on the list of places we needed to go to..TG was now a "Happy Camper". Did the grocery shopping for our meals, got hitched ;) and off we went. Here we are at our first stop a half mile away for some fuel (Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwiches) for the ride.

Ok, so NOW we're Off! Trip was (almost) smooth sailing. There must be one area of Delaware that is off the maps..and we needed to travel through that area to get to our Destination. We won't discuss the area we ended up in and the gas station I pulled over in for TG to ask directions! (Look in my next post for a very appropriate quote from a movie we'd watched during the trip) We arrived at approx 6pm and I backed the baby in! Didn't hit any trees, picnic tables, nor water/power lines! Got everything set up quickly including the attached outdoor room on first try! When TG first took the poles out of the bag and extended them he got a little concerned, they were huge..where do these things go? With confidence in the designer of this monstrous thing and the 4 step directions attached to the bag, it all worked out.

By now it's dark and time to get something in our bellies. Those bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were big but not enough to last us the day! I was getting a bit cranky from lack of eating so to save his sanity, TG hooked up the grill and I cooked some burgers and dogs. Flashlights in hand, we decided to check the place out. It was a beautiful place on the Chesapeake Bay with 2 ponds also on the grounds.

Since it is still early in the season and a weekday, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. There are a bunch of RV's there year round, some of the owners were there, some were not. It was a very peaceful place....at night all we heard were the croaking of the frogs in the ponds! Off to sit in our outdoor room and relax before bed.
