Making It Our Own

Now the Fun begins!  I want to decorate and TG wants to modify.  We do a little of both at a time and it works....I add a candle and a tray, TG moves it to get to his modification, I add some placemats and dishes and TG works around them to do his mods!  We work well together (honestly, we really do :) ). We are all about SPACE..since our T@B is small (yet perfect) we need to get the most out of every little inch.  TG has removed one Decorative Cabinet Panel and voila...we now have a place for our binoculars, swiss army knives, etc.  Under the seating is storage space, but not under all of them!  We cut out the wood top and hinged it so it opens up for storage.  Being OCD as we are..TG had to then finish the raw ends by ironing on some matching wood edge tape.  Our next mod we got from our fellow T@bbers group.  The table doubles as an indoor/outdoor table and it drops down for the seat cushions to rest on - creating the sleeping area.  We decided that on nights when we have the table outside filled with stuff, we do not want to start packing up to bring it in to sleep on.  TG attached 2 small wood pieces to the seat benches and made a row of slats that are attached to each other with stapled cord for easy roll up.  Yay, we can go to bed without cleaning up!
Oh! I forgot to mention the Wall to Wall Carpet we put down too! I had a remnant left over from the house and TG was able to cut a piece out that fits perfectly in the space. ...and if it gets dirty it isn't attached to anything so it can be shook out and vaccumed. Worst case theres enough leftover for another wall to wall piece :)
We have more modifications we know we want to do..but since our first trip is Monday (and we do have to work for a living) ..This will be good for now ( or just until next week when we return from our trip).  I wil have pics of the mods soon.  No time to waste..our maiden voyage is approaching fast!

Next Up - Preparing for our Maiden Voyage with T@BBABY...Stay Tuned!
