Preparing for our First Outting in T@bbaby

I wanted to take our first trip the day after we picked up our T@B.  Knowing that wasn't possible, we looked into dates that would work with both our schedules.  We outfitted the T@B with everything we think we'd need (and than some!) and were finally able to book a campground.  We wanted to go to Hither Hills State Park in Montauk, thinking it was far enough away yet close enough.  They do not accept Pets..and since we have our furry friend Lexi..that was out.  We still would like to plan a future trip there if we could find a sitter for the little fellow (any takers? :) )  I was surprised..most campgrounds are pet friendly and one of the benefits of having the trailer is that we can go away and not worry about the pooch..he joins us!  Anyways, we decided if we couldn't go to Montauk, we'd go south a little. Now we are set to arrive in Maryland at a campground on the Chesapeake Bay on Monday! 
On our day off this past Tuesday, we decided to do a test run.  First thing..we set up the new Shower/Bathroom tent..went up easy! Now lets fill the shower bag and lay it out in the sun to heat the water..Leaking!  Ok..not a big deal, we'll exchange it for a (hopefully) non-leaky one.  I decided to order a hot water tank shower system on Amazon, however it won't arrive before our first trip..so we are off to exchange the bag.  Next we fill the water tank to test the flow to the sink.  I've heard probems of the water not coming out of the faucet on first try, so all connected, turn on the faucet..works - yay..oh wait..the water pump is leaking!  Hurry TG turn it off!  TG identified the problem part..so off to you know where (hint..I need to drag him out of there) for a replacement!  Refrigerator working..Check.  Stove working..Check.  ahh..lets take a dinner break.  Now that our bellies are full, we go out to test our movie projector and homemade projection screen.  Plug it in..nothing!  The GFI outlet is broken and this controls all the other outlets in our little home away fom home.  ok..tomorrows another day.  New GFI Outlet - everythings working!
I think we are (almost) ready to roll.  Got a Double Hitch 'Thingy' to attach the Bike Rack to..Got straps to put the Kayak on the luggage rack..now we just need to do some grocery shopping, pack up and go!  I think ;)
