All Rolled Into One

I had planned to post updates of our trip each day, however I never wanted to just sit and look at the computer and type.  We were busy spending our time enjoying the outdoors and checked our phones 3 times a day.  I turned on the iPad one night for about 10 minutes then shut it down..wasn't into it. I wanted to be outside enjoying the sights and sounds of nature..not the computer.  With that said, this will be an all inclusive of our time away in our T@B.
Tuesday: The only thing we didn't get to do last night (the night of our arrival) was get the party lights on. (Remember from a previous post, the ones that will let the aliens know we have landed!) We've got the lights, the clips and we are good to go.

we have landed
The first morning we woke up to Sunshine and warm temperatures. Perfect. Got the coffee and tea made and relaxed outside before our 2nd walk around the grounds.  Last night was a bit dark and was difficult to see..especially when I kept shining my flashlight in TG's eyes ;)
We walked down to the Chesapeake Bay, just yards away from where we were set-up.  TG had gone ahead while I checked out the bathrooms that we had no idea existed the night before!  I came out to find TG and Lexi down on the beach combing for walking sticks. I joined them in their search, walking along the sand and the rocks admiring all the pieces of wood that the bay had turned into beautiful objects of art.

When we got back we took the hammocks out and decided to just lounge and enjoy the weather.  There was talk of rain that night and into the following morning, so this was a good chance to take in the sun.  Sometime during my hammock nap, TG had wandered off and befriended a year round RV resident, Jack.  That night I was preparing dinner when Jack pulled up in his golf cart offering it to us to take for a ride around the grounds.  We were thrilled. We told Jack, we'd come by to pick it up for a ride after we had dinner.

Off we went! Lexi even had a hand at the wheel.
We rode down to the boat launch to catch the sun setting. It was absolutely beautiful.

That night we made a small campfire and afterwards hunkered down inside the outdoor room. The winds were kickin' up from the storm coming in.  We sat and listened before heading off to sleep.

Lexi was exhausted from his busy day outdoors and went to bed way before we did!

busy day

To be continued.....
